The wrestling team placed fourth at the
league tournament on Feb. 4th and 5th. Congratulations to Kingco 3A individual champions: Nate Sjoholm (132) Conner Small (138), Shane Small (152), and Hamilton Noel (160). Also moving on to Regionals for the Patriots are Romney Noel ( 3rd at 152), Luke Oman (3rd at 220), Jimmy Andrus (4th at 145), and Quinn Magendanz (4th at 160) and Joanna Moreira (2nd at 137). Joanna is our 1st female wrestler and the 1st in our history to qualify for the girls Regional tournament to be held in Bellingham on Feb. 11th. The guys Regional tournament will also be on Feb. 11th at Skyline HS with the top four in each weight class advancing to state at the Tacoma Dome!



The Liberty wrestling team placed 4th on Saturday at our own wrestling invitational tournament. Romney Noel, Quinn Magendanz and Tyler Ackerson all placed 5th. Jimmy Andrus placed 4th. Zach Toombs, Jake Tierney, Luke Oman and Noel Brandon all placed 3rd. Hamilton Noel and freshman Conner Small brought home championship titles for the Patriots. Congratulations to the Patriot wrestling team!


WRESTLING
The wrestling team competed at the Nathan Hale Invite on 12-17 and placed 2nd out of 12 teams. The lone champion was freshmen Conner Small at 138 lbs. Noel Brandon placed 2nd at 195 lbs. along with freshmen Romney Noel at 152 lbs. Placing 3rd for the Patriots were Casey Smith at 152 lbs., Luke Oman at 285, Nate Sjoholm at 132, Jimmy Andrus at 145, Quinn Magendanz at 160, Shane Small at 170, and Joey Smith at 182. Well done patriot wrestling! Next we're off to Vancouver to the Pac Coast tournament Dec. 28th-29th.

WRESTLING
Congratulations to Hamilton Noel and Noel
Brandon for placing at the prestigious Battle of the Border in Blaine,WA this past weekend. Noel Brandon took 6th place and Hamilton was the tournament champion. 32 teams attended the two day tournament.
