Day 3 - ANDREW COOPER WINS 3200!
On a cold, windy Day 3, Andrew ran a tactical race before a last lap surge from Sehome's Johnson put him behind by 20 meters with 200 to go. With a strong kick into the wind on the home straight, Andrew became Liberty's 1st Track Champion in a individual running event. Liberty has produced 2 Gold medal 4x4 teams and Jumps winners in previous years but had not had a Track victor until yesterday. Nate Solly also ran a lifetime best in the 300 hurdles for 4th before leading off the 1600 relay team (Nate, Chris Hanson, Cam Roberson, Zeke Owens) which placed 6th. Brigette Takeuchi took 4th in the 3200 for the girls. Also competing in the 3200's were Sophie Lindstrom, Carlyn Schmidgall, Nick Seigfried & Sean Szymanski. Overall the Boys team was 9th and the Girls were 11th.
