The Liberty boys golf team picked up a pair of KingCo 3A/2A victories last week at Maplewood,
thanks in part to the efforts of Hall, a junior. Hall shot an exceptional, 4-under-par 32 against Bellevue,

2013 Season
October 7 Week Update
It was a tough week for the Patriots as they experienced being the “hunted” instead of the “hunters” for the first time. Coming into the week 2-0 got the attention of the top teams that we faced and we had chances to take 2 of those matches but didn’t quite rise to the occasions. We live and we learn though and we expect the players to rise up this week and take the 2 matches to finish with a winning record for the first time in many years. Consistency and playing up to their capabilities will be the key.

Our match with Mt Si is Tuesday at 3:00 at Mt Si Golf Course and spectators are welcome there. Wednesday is our make-up match with Lake Washington at Maplewood at 2:56.
A reminder that Saturday the top 6 will be traveling to Snohomish to get a practice round in on the course they’ll be playing Monday the 21st for the league championship. The top 6 will be determined after Wednesday’s match and it’s very close as to who will get in. Coach Kinsley will be driving the school van and we will meet at Liberty at 7:00am Saturday morning.
Another great day to be a Patriot!!! Match vs Sammamish at Maplewood
The Patriot Linksters are 2-0 for the first time in who knows how long. At least 10 years. They can’t rest on their laurels now though with the 3 toughest matches of the year coming next week. Monday they face off against the 3 time defending state champions Interlake at Tam O’Shanter, Tuesday against perennial power Mercer Island at Twin Rivers and Wednesday against always tough Bellevue at Maplewood. The kids are gaining confidence daily and believing they belong with the best.
